The temporary Recovery Centres will soon transition back to local services. Help is still available from all agencies and services from the Recovery Centres and people are encouraged to contact agencies directly or call their local council for assistance.

Small businesses

Additional disaster recovery assistance for small businesses affected by the North Coast floods

To apply for a recovery grant, small businesses and non-profit organisations in the local government areas affected by the North Coast floods can contact the NSW Rural Assistance Authority on 1800 678 593 or by visiting raa.nsw.gov.au.

Natural Disaster Assistance Schemes

Disaster assistance has been made available for communities affected by flooding in the North Coast of NSW.

Declared Local Government Areas include Ballina, Byron, Kyogle, Richmond Valley, Lismore and Tweed.
