Health and well-being, housing, legal, livestock and other assistance
For those impacted by the flooding in Western NSW, there are a range of services and assistance available. This includes mental health and crisis support, housing assistance, replacing certificates and licenses, assistance with livestock and animals, household support, insurance inquiries, legal assistance and more.
Natural Disaster Recover Assistance for Primary Producers - Central West
NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) and Local Land Services (LLS) coordinate and provide recovery assistance and advice to landholders, primary producers, commercial fishers, and other industries impacted by a natural disaster event. This includes The Rural Assistance Authority Natural Disaster Relief Scheme, Rural Financial Counselling Services, Farm Household Support and more.

Disaster assistance for councils
Under the NSW Disaster Assistance Guidelines, the NSW Government provides financial assistance to councils for a range of measures.
Disaster assistance for individuals - 1800 018 444
Financial assistance may be available to people affected by a disaster who are experiencing financial hardship and who are unable to meet the cost of repairs for essential household contents and/or structural repairs to their homes.
A range of assistance is available to those impacted by this event, including health and wellbeing, housing, insurance, legal assistance and more.
Thank you for thinking of the people who have been affected by the current flooding in western New South Wales. Your interest and kindness are very much appreciated and public support make a big difference to community recovery. However, there is no need for donated goods at the moment and local agencies are unable to accept them.
