Emergency Management Planning
Aim
To enable participants to develop and review multi-agency and single-agency emergency management plans.
Outcomes
- explain the purposes of emergency management plans;
- explain the relationship between emergency risk management and emergency management planning;
- contribute to an emergency management planning process; and
- contribute to the review and maintenance of plans.
Duration
7 hours.
Attendance
LEMC members, agency planners and others who are to be actively involved in implementing the emergency management planning process within their community.
Assessment
Participants are not assessed during the course. However, the course is part of a strand of training that includes a formal assessment process.

- Emergency Management Arrangements (NSW)
- Introduction to Emergency Risk Management
- Implementing Emergency Risk Management
